Collective three waterfalls lying in between the international border of Canada and United States is often addressed as the Niagara Falls. The three falls are the Horseshoe Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls and the American Falls.
Peak number of visitors arrives at the falls during nighttime when the Niagara Falls can be visited both during daytime as well as evening. The fall can be viewed from both the Canadian side and American side. There are different floodlights which illuminate the both sides of the falls. According to report, the number of visitors in the year 2007 was expected to be 20 million while by 2009, the rate increased to top 28 million tourist.
One of the oldest as well as the best known attraction which attracts maximum tourist is the Maid of the Mist boat cruise. This cruise boat carries passengers into the rapids below the falls since 1846. This cruise boats can easily operate from different boat docks on both sides of the falls.
